First amazing thing this week is our finding of an awesome new
investigator. He had been talked to by the missionareis before I came
here, and we had just never visited him. Turns out he used to do drugs
and drink a lot, but he realized that isn't what he wanted to do with
his life. He's had a hard journey leaving that stuff behind, but its
amazing that the Lord has prepared him so much to recieve the Gospel.
He really wants to make things right.
Second, another investigator that I've talked about before told us an
awesome story, but to hear the good news, we had to go through a
little bit of a struggle. First, she didn't really seem interested
when we talked about the Plan of Salvation. Then next lesson we had,
we had it all set up to bring a member with us, but then she canceled.
The next week, we had it set up with the member again, but then the
member canceled. We were just a slight bit saddened, and weren't quite
sure what to teach because the lesson we had planned was going to use
the members a lot. But that lesson ended up turning out amazingly well.
At the end, I asked her if she had prayed about the Book of Mormon.
She told us she hadn't, but that she had been praying about 2
months ago for God to guide her and show her to the way she should go.
Right after that, the missionaries knocked on her door. She's still
not sure if that was her answer, but we are. :) So she's not going to
loose interest until she sees if really it was her answer. Yep, super
awesome.
3rd exciting thing, I have pictures this time! We're going to call them
the things you see in Georgia.(see next post)
Well, there are your typicall Georgia sights. Even I'm a typical sight
here in Georgia now.
Have a good week!
